We are pleased to announce our new app, if you don't know about this where have you been hiding! Easy to download and even easier to use, you can now access all the information you ever dreamed of from your phone!
Ok, so maybe not all the information you ever dreamed off but there is a lot.
Follow the instructions on the attached PowerPoint and the app takes minutes to download and you can access all the information immediately.
From now on you will be able to:
- See our meeting calendar and sync it with your own.
- Book onto Leadership Updates and other Educate Norfolk events.
- Listen to our weekly podcast.
- View our latest newsletter.
- Access our directory.
- Have an SOS button at your finger tips for the days when you just need a little help or someone to speak to.
- Add articles based on your own school or practice to our newsletter.
- Answer a weekly headteacher 30 second poll.
- Repond quickly to requests for the views of Norfolk Headteachers when our reps are representing you in meetings.
You will notice new tiles appear occasionally when an external person such as Kelly Waters at NCC asks us to help her collect information or when we are advertising new events.
We are just getting to know our app and as our knowledge develops, functionality will too and we will keep you up to date with the latest via this newsletter and notifications.
We welcome any feedback you may have.
Thank you again to everyone that has supplied information regarding their school and details of the funding issues you are facing.
The meeting on 20th May, as we previously reported was very successful. The next meeting will be held on 5th July in Norfolk. We have gathered enormous amounts of data in preparation for this meeting and are incredibly grateful to the LA for their support in this.
The meeting this time will focus on the reasons that we are doing more with less. Our data gathering has looked at changes over the last 20 years in a variety of areas including SEND needs, pupil numbers, external service provision, number of schools, number of school places and more.
We have also examined the qualitative data we receieved from you in much more detail, looking at the hidden impacts of the funding crisis. TA numbers are reducing and support offered has therefore been reduced, what does this mean on the gound and for pupil outcomes? We have therefore looked at grades, found national data on staff wellbeing and support and teaching staff retention.
If you have any further details on the hidden impacts in your school please let us have these ASAP.
We will feed back on this meeting before the end of term.

On each page we would like to provide individuals aspiring to each of the roles the following information:

- Typical interview questions/tasks
- Typical tasks undertaken by a person in that role
- A day in the life of case study from someone in the role
- Anything else you feel is useful
If you are able to provide any of this for any of these roles please send it to [email protected].
